Young Sherlock Holmes

Buy Tickets Passes OK | Single Feature

Young Sherlock Holmes(1985) dir Barry Levinson w/Nicholas Rowe, Alan Cox, Sophie Ward [109 min] Kind of like Harry Potter meets CSI, an adolescent Sherlock Holmes and John Watson (pre-doctorate, of course) discover a plot to use a lethal hallucinatory drug as a way to ensnare victims into an ancient Egyptian murder cult. The young Holmes and the owlish Watson must use their budding deductive prowess to solve the case before anyone else gets hurt, including themselves. Oft overlooked but extremely influential in its own right, YOUNG SHERLOCK HOLMES is a grand adventure with dazzling special effects.
