The Adventures of Baron Munchausen

A Tribute to John Neville

(1988) dir Terry Gilliam w/John Neville, Sarah Polley, Eric Idle, Charles McKeown, Winston Dennis, Jack Purvis, Jonathan Pryce, Uma Thurman, Oliver Reed [126 min]

The great British actor John Neville passed away at the end of 2011 and we take a moment to remember him with this, one of his most recognizable performances. In Terry Gilliam’s thoroughly underrated film, Neville plays Baron Munchausen, a swashbuckling hero in his autumn years. Despite being an infamous box office bomb, MUNCHAUSEN is a wondrous tapestry of historical, mythological and literary references. (Passes will be accepted for this show)
