John Carpenter’s legendary paranoid sci-fi film and media commentary depicts an Earth that has been unknowingly overrun by aliens. They’ve seized control without us knowing by disguising themselves and broadcasting subliminal messages to keep us compliant. But, when an unlikely hero (Piper) gets his hands on a special pair of sunglasses that allow him to see the invaders as they really are, the time has finally come to kick some alien ass.
