Cyber Tracker 2

We’re excited to welcome TRASH NIGHT, one of Boston’s best underground comedy/film events, to the Brattle starting in 2014! Once a month TRASH NIGHT selects one F-grade, sub-cult cinematic wonder and unleashes it on an unsuspecting audience – with original video weirdness seeded throughout. This is one of the rare times at the Brattle when audience participation is not only encouraged, it’s required!

CYBER TRACKER 2

(1995) Dir Richard Pepin, w/Don ‘The Dragon’ Wilson, Stacie Foster, Tony Burton [97 min, digital]
=== SPECIAL CELEBRITY GUEST APPEARANCE!!! ===

In our inaugural CYBER SUMMER film, DON “THE DRAGON” WILSON plays an undercover cop in a near-future Earth in which CYBER TRACKERS, cyborg cops, help human cops fight crime. “Cyborgs are bad,” insists STACIE FOSTER, as Don’s television-journalist wife. “Maybe they’re good,” reasons Don, who has his life saved by one. “MAYBE THEY’RE ACTUALLY REALLY BAD,” reasons the REST OF THE ENTIRE MOVIE.

But wait—what’s “CYBER SUMMER,” you ask? Why, it’s TRASH NIGHT’S inaugural ALL-“CYBER”-MOVIES summer programming block! We REFUSE to show any film that doesn’t EXPLICITLY say “CYBER” somewhere in the title! Will there be CYBER-SURPRISES??? There’s only ONE WAY to find out! (And, uh, you remembered to keep your TRANCERS pins from last month, right? Just checking…)

AND WE’RE KICKING OFF this insane summer programming block with a ***LEGITIMATE, GENUINE, CELEBRITY GUEST APPEARANCE!*** How did we pull this off?? Are we insane??? ALL WILL BE REVEALED! DON’T BLAME US IF YOU MISS OUT AND BECOME UNDONE BY YOUR OWN FOMO!!!

The BRATTLE THEATRE’S doors open at 7 PM on JUNE 3RD for CYBER SUMMER, and we kick off at 7:30 sharp. Tickets are $7 in advance, or at the door; beer, wine and snacks are available in the Brattle’s lobby. PLEASE BELIEVE ME — YOU WANT TO BE HERE FOR THIS ONE.
