Jodorowsky’s Dune

Buy Tickets

(2013) dir Frank Pavich w/Alejandro Jodorowsky, H.R. Giger [90 min; DCP]

In English, French, German, and Spanish with English subtitles.

In 1975, Alejandro Jodorowsky began work on his most ambitious project yet – an adaptation of Frank Herbert’s classic sci-fi novel Dune. Working with colaborators such as Orson Welles, Mick Jagger, Salvador Dali, Pink Floyd, HR Giger and Jean ‘Moebius’ Giraud, Jodorowsky’s Dune was poised to change cinema forever. And yet… it never happened. This excellent documentary delves into the whys and the what-could-have-been of this legendary, non-existent film.
