SHORTS PROGRAM

BUFF logoIn this exploration of youthful nihilism, the spark is innocently lit with a zippo on a dry East Texas night. Parental neglect and vicious adolescent bullying beget bewildering, violent means of escape.

Upon leaving the nest, we gravitate towards our like-minded punk tribe, white-knuckling the increasingly dark path towards adulthood together yet profoundly alone. Once we think we’ve reached independence life throws us right back to where we started, adrift in the cruel chaos of forces beyond our control or understanding.

Sometimes, things go so far wrong that there’s nothing to do but wait around for the inevitable end.
