During WWII, Stephen Neale (Milland) stops at a fair on his way to London and wins a cake by correctly guessing its weight. For some reason, it seems that a lot of other people want to get their hands on that cake too and Neale finds himself embroiled with a ring of Nazi spies, a beautiful woman, and one very sinister tailor.
