An uproarious mash-up of 70s paranoid thriller and buddy action film, THE NICE GUYS follows a pair of private investigators on the case of a murdered porn star and the ‘experimental’ film she was working on intended to expose corruption in the auto industry. With fantastic performances by Crowe and Gosling as the detectives – and a should-be-starmaking turn by Rice as Gosling’s too-smart-for-her-own-good daughter.
