Double Feature with CAMERAPERSON

(2016) dir Robert Greene w/Kate Lyn Sheil [112 min; DCP]
In his latest film, Robert Greene trains his lens on actress Kate Lyn Sheil who is preparing to play a Florida reporter who infamously shot herself on-air in 1974. The challenge of playing a demanding role is the apparent focus of the film but, in the end, it reflects back on itself to question the motivations for making, and indeed watching, a film about such a horrific event.

★★★★ “A fascinating pursuit of understanding the unknowable” – The Guardian
