New England Premiere!

Presented by Belmont World Film as part of their 15th Annual Family Festival

Directed by Henry Rincon | Colombia | 2016 | 91 min. | Spanish with subtitles read aloud (via headphones)
Age 5-9 ($10)
Based on real events, the film tells the story of Eduardo, a 10 year-old boy with a great deal of courage and a passion for soccer, whose handicap won’t stop him from fulfilling his dream of playing soccer as he used to before his accident. Although poor, a victim of Colombia’s armed conflict, and missing a leg, he is determined to compete in a children’s soccer tournament with the help of his music teacher and some valiant friends. If little Eduardo can follow his dreams, then surely there’s hope for us all!
