The Late Show!
(1965) dir Burt Kennedy w/Glenn Ford, Elke Sommer, Rita Hayworth, Ricardo Montalban, Joseph Cotton [91 min; 16mm]
Hayworth continued to act until the early 1970s but she never again achieved the level of success that she had enjoyed in her heyday. Most of her appearances are in b-movies like this pulp-noir which teams her (for the last time) with old friend Glenn Ford. Once again, Rita plays Glenn’s old flame who reemerges at a key moment. In this case, she is the widow of a thief that crooked cop Ford wants information from.
