Each January we take a look back and join others in putting together a list of some of the most important and interesting films of the previous year. This year’s crop of films seemed more diverse and full of amazing work than usual – our shortlist was 60 films long – so we’ve expanded the series to a full 2 weeks. Join us for everything from big budget blockbusters (MAD MAX: FURY ROAD) to shoestring indies (TANGERINE) alongside work made in countries as far flung as Chile (THE PEARL BUTTON), the Ukraine (THE TRIBE), Jordan (THEEB), and Canada (THE FORBIDDEN ROOM).
