Trash Night: Driving Force

Buy Tickets: 7:30 Tickets $7 all seats, no discounts. No Brattle Passes.

Here’s the entirety of the Wikipedia page for this film: “DRIVING FORCE is a 1989 action film directed by A.J. Prowse”. Sam Jones (Flash Gordon) tries to teach us all something about tow trucks and being a single dad in the post-apocalyptic future while trying to win the heart of Catherine Bach (Daisy Duke, Dukes of Hazard). Patrick Swayze’s lesser-known brother Don runs a quasi-legal towing/car sabotage gang, and he’s not about to let anyone infringe on his turf. Tow truck violence ensues.

TRASH NIGHT is an ongoing series of films featuring z-grade and sub-cult oddities, formerly happening in the basement of that other theater in Davis Square, now making its above-ground debut at The Brattle! Crowd participation and a humorous disposition are encouraged. More info

About Trash Night

We’re excited to welcome TRASH NIGHT, one of Boston’s best underground comedy/film events, to the Brattle starting in 2014! Once a month TRASH NIGHT selects one F-grade, sub-cult cinematic wonder and unleashes it on an unsuspecting audience – with original video weirdness seeded throughout. This is one of the rare times at the Brattle when audience participation is not only encouraged, it’s required!
