An Evening at ‘The Good Inn’

Buy Tickets

Co-presented by The Harvard Coop

Co-authour Josh Frank and illustrator Steven Appleby in person!

We’re thrilled to host the Boston area book launch for the first novel from legendary Pixies frontman, Black Francis. Along with co-author Josh Frank and illustrator Steven Appleby, Francis has created a bold and visually arresting illustrated novel about art, conflict, and the origins of a certain type of cinema.

In addition to a book reading and signing, we will be screening rare, silent EROTIC SHORTS from France alongside Georges Méliès A TRIP TO THE MOON and Luis Buñuel’s UN CHIEN ANDALOU.

“‘The Good Inn’ is a transgressive historical fiction, with shades of Thomas Pynchon—explosive, cinematic, set in a hallucinatory Edwardian Europe.” – Barnes & Noble Review
