Each category of short films and animations features jury-selected work by artists from around the world. Category programs are approximately one-hour long.

Le Gouffre – Carl Beauchemin
Two travelers undertake the construction of a gigantic bridge in order to cross a gulf blocking their way, inspiring with their courage and determination a rural community living nearby.

Yours, Mime and Ours – Teresa Falcone
A heartwarming tale of a clown father trying to understand his mime daughter. Hilarity ensues.

Malaise – Daniel Beaulieu
An abandoned corridor. The distant echo of fleeing footsteps. Orange shag carpet. MALAISE.

Passenger – Brendan Kirschbaum
A mysterious train bursts through a graveyard in the dead of night. A woman visiting her husband’s gravestone is lured on by a familiar tune, hoping to find him among the other passengers. But confronting the dead comes at a price.

The Ballad of Holland Island House – Lynn Tomlinson
Animated clay paintings tell the true story of the last house on a sinking island in the Chesapeake Bay, a large and important estuary and waterway in Maryland, on the East Coast of the United States.

Treasure Nest – Allison Botkin and Mike Bourbeau 
An animated short following Blue and Peanut’s journey across the land in search of hidden treasure.

An unforgettable day of fishing for a grandfather and his little son.

Tired – Megan McShane
The tragic story of a spare tire who struggles to find his true purpose.

How to Avoid Annoying People – Ariel Nasser
Comical animated film reveals the over-the-top harassments endured by a plane traveller as he thwarts the constant verbal barrage from a fellow passenger.

Tanz mit Ratte – Ara Jo and Eric Bouley
A little girl, unnoted and left alone by her parents, roams around the house, finds an old family picture and magically overcomes her loneliness with the help of her deceased grandmother and a rat.

The Adventures of Barty and the Pirate – Mark Chavez
Barty and the Pirate are marooned on a desert island. The Pirate is a cantankerous fellow who wants constant attention. Barty, an easy going lad comes to know the Pirate through an admiration of the pirate lifestyle.

Provoda (The Wires) – Tatiana Moshkova
It is a story about one special word that leaves someone’s lips during a phone call.
