The historic and non-profit Brattle Theatre is seeking qualified individuals for part-time employment in the box office and concessions stand for the position of Shift Manager.

Responsibilities include cash handling, ticket sales, providing assistance to patrons, and selling concessions.

Available shifts are: Either (depending on your availability) Friday evenings 4:00-11:30 pm, and Sunday days noon -6:30 pm. (These times are approximate and vary slightly from week to week).

Must be at least 18 years old. Management and customer service experience mandatory; box office and food service preferred.

The Brattle Film Foundation (BFF) is seeking a part-time intern to work directly with the Executive Director and provide support on all aspects of our development work.

Applicants with a degree, working toward a degree, and/or comparable work experience will be considered. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with communications writing styles
  • Some development and fundraising experience
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to maintain an established work schedule
  • Effectively use organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow through
  • A professional phone manner
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic internet research
  • Interest in film a plus

Time Commitment: 10 hours per week, including fundraising and donor appreciation events. Some evening hours may be necessary. Flexible schedule.

The Brattle Film Foundation seek a creative, organized, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented social media intern to work in the Brattle office in Harvard Square. Intern will work directly with the marketing manager on writing copy, scheduling posts, creative strategy, and fact-checking.

Applicants must have demonstrable interest in social media and social media marketing across multiple platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn.

Candidates must be available to work on site (no telecommuting), and preference will be given to those with a serious interest in film.
