(1953) dir Felix Feist w/Lew Ayres, Gene Evans, Nancy Davis, Steve Brodie [84 min; Digital]
In this prototypical pseudo-science 50s sci-fi film, a scientist experimenting on monkey brains in his isolated mountain retreat is delighted to find that a human ‘volunteer’ has arrived in the form of a critically injured plane crash victim. Unfortunately, his experiment to keep the brain alive after the body has died is all too successful and he finds himself becoming possessed by the consciousness of the ruthless businessman whose brain he has stolen.
