Pulp Fiction

25th Anniversary

Wed, May 22 & Thu, May 23

Double Feature with MURDER, MY SWEET (Wed, 7:00) and THE WILD BUNCH (Thu, 7:00)

1994 • dir Quentin Tarantino w/John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Willis, Maria de Medeiros, Ving Rhames, Tim Roth, Amanda Plummer, Harvey Keitel • 154 min • 35mm

PULP FICTION was a sensation at its Cannes Film Festival debut (almost exactly 25 years ago today!) and it went on to become one of the most influential films of the 1990s. Sure, Reservoir Dogs was a great debut, but no one could have predicted that Tarantino’s follow-up would be so groundbreaking. Firmly establishing his style of creating a new narrative by putting scenes from his favorite films on shuffle, PULP FICTION proves that genre pastiche can feel fresh when in the hands of a master filmmaker.

Staff Pick: Billy: “No better way to see this film than in a theater on 35mm.” Brandon: “Saw this seven times in the theater when it came out. Still a fave.”
