Though played too much for laughs for the author’s full liking, Margaret Rutherford’s turn as Agatha Christie’s famous spinster sleuth, Miss Jane Marple, is top notch entertainment. In MURDER SHE SAID, Marple witnesses a murder on a passing train – and won’t let up until she convinces the police of what she saw and brings the murderer to justice.
