A Message Regarding COVID-19

Dear Brattle Friends,

All of us at The Brattle care deeply about the health and safety of our community. We are reaching out with important information regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus) and the steps we are taking to ensure your well-being.

Obviously, this situation is still developing and could change at any moment but, in the meantime, it is business as usual here at The Brattle – albeit with a few more Clorox wipes involved.

Though the risk of COVID-19 infection for most people in Cambridge remains low, we want to reassure you that we are doing everything we can to limit the risk of exposure here at The Brattle.
Our staff has been instructed to be diligent with between show cleanings in the concessions area and high traffic zones of the theater – using disinfectant wipes on all frequently used surfaces. We have also asked employees to be even more conscientious about hand washing and instructed anyone who feels sick to stay home. We are also asking our patrons to do the same.

In light of the current situation, we wanted to remind our patrons that there is never a fee to change your tickets to a later showing and we are happy to issue passes for a future screening if you are sick or feel uncomfortable being in community spaces at this time.

If you would like further information or assistance in dealing with any ticketing matter, please feel free to call The Brattle office at 617-876-8021 or email [email protected].

We are continuing to monitor the situation and will follow guidance provided by the local and state public health authorities and the CDC.

Though we may see some changes to upcoming events, we have no plans to close The Brattle unless ordered to do so by a governmental body. We will announce any changes on our website at brattlefilm.org, as well as through social media and email.

Thank you for your support of our independent, non-profit cinema!

Best wishes,
The Brattle Theatre Team
