Ticket Policy

Tickets are sold at the box office by cash, check ($25 minimum), and credit card.

Brattle gift cards can be redeemed in person at the theater for admission, concessions purchases, memberships, and merchandise. Gift cards cannot be used for online ticket purchases. Gift cards are not redeemable for alcoholic beverages at the concession stand.

All Brattle screenings are general admission unless otherwise noted.

The Brattle box office generally opens 1/2 hour before the first show of the day; tickets for each subsequent showtime go on sale 30 minutes after the previous show has started.

Advance Tickets

Advance tickets for Brattle Film Foundation presentations are only available online. Some exceptions apply. Advance ticket sales generally close 2 hours before showtime. All advance tickets incur a processing fee at time of purchase.

Group Rates

Special group rates are available for parties of 10 or more. Contact us for more info at 617 876-8021.

No refunds given for advance tickets. Refunds for tickets purchased at the box office given only during the first 15 minutes of show at the manager’s discretion. Refunds for special events are given at the discretion of the presenting organization.

Member Passes/Double Date Passes

Passes can be used for admission to most screenings, including special engagements and films playing as part of a repertory series. Passes are not accepted for many special events and film festivals. Events where passes are not accepted will be noted as “No Brattle Passes” or “No Passes Accepted.”

Brattle Members may also take advantage of a $2 discount off our regular full-price ticket, in place of using a pass. This is also useful when purchasing advance tickets or when you have run out of passes. Please present a valid membership card at the box office when picking up discount tickets.

Some obligatory fine print: Member Passes are valid for one year, have no cash value, and may not be redeemed for anything other than admission. Groupons/Groupon Passes are subject to the terms outlined at time of sale. Management reserves the right to revoke passes or deny entry at their discretion.
