(Some of) The Best of 2015

Friday, January 15 – Thursday, January 28, 2016

Each January we take a look back and join others in putting together a list of some of the most important and interesting films of the previous year. This year’s crop of films seemed more diverse and full of amazing work than usual – our shortlist was 60 films long – so we’ve expanded the series to a full 2 weeks. Join us for everything from big budget blockbusters (MAD MAX: FURY ROAD) to shoestring indies (TANGERINE) alongside work made in countries as far flung as Chile (THE PEARL BUTTON), the Ukraine (THE TRIBE), Jordan (THEEB), and Canada (THE FORBIDDEN ROOM). Plus children’s matinees, genre fare, documentaries, and much more!
