Virtual Program Highlights:
The Brattle is excited to be hosting and co-producing the inaugural edition of a new festival of films directed by women! The BOSTON WOMEN’S FILM FESTIVAL is the newest addition to Greater Boston’s film festival landscape.
This fall, the festival will present a weekend of events celebrating the diversity and power of women’s cinema at both the Brattle and Museum of Fine Arts Boston.
Films included this year at the Brattle include a galvanizing documentary about cyber-bullying (NETIZENS), Nia DeCosta’s neo-Western (LITTLE WOODS), and a rom-com-drama featuring a remarkable performance from Mary Elizabeth Winstead as a raunchy comedian battling some serious demons while pursuing her dreams (ALL ABOUT NINA).
Please visit MFA.org for a list of films screening at Museum of Fine Arts Boston, or visit bostonwomensfest.org for the full lineup and schedule.
