(Some of) The Best of 2013

Friday, January 31 – Wednesday, February 12, 2014

It’s always difficult for us to whittle down our list of favorite films every year for our annual retrospective series. This year we feature films both big and small that caught our attention for one reason or another. Whether it’s the standout performances of ENOUGH SAID, FRANCES HA, and BLUE JASMINE, the thought-provoking documentary work in THE ACT OF KILLING and LEVIATHAN, or the cerebral cinematic flourish in MUSEUM HOURS and NIGHT ACROSS THE STREET, all of these films include elements that make them worthy of being listed among the best of the year. Check out the full list below!

Many of the films in the series will be introduced by members of the Boston Society of Film Critics and the Boston Online Film Critics Association. See schedule below for details.
