The Films of Atom Egoyan

Friday, March 16 – Sunday, March 18, 2012

Canadian film writer, director and producer Atom Egoyan is one of the most celebrated contemporary filmmakers. Through his uniquely personal features, he has created a remarkable body of work that has received critical acclaim and achieved commercial success around the world. He has won numerous prizes at international film festivals including two Academy Award nominations for THE SWEET HEREAFTER. With earlier films such as SPEAKING PARTS, CALENDAR, and EXOTICA, Egoyan delves into issues of intimacy, displacement, and the impact of technology and media in modern life. These themes are further explored in works throughout his career including his most recent films Chloe and ADORATION. We are thrilled to join the Chlotrudis Society for Independent Film in welcoming this remarkable artist to Boston for this film series and the annual Chlotrudis award ceremony on March 18.

Don’t miss Atom Egoyan and actress Arsinée Khanjian in person at screenings of ADORATION and CALENDAR, and at the 18th Annual Chlotrudis Awards! Read more about Arsinée Khanjian and Atom Egoyan on the Chlotrudis Society’s website at
