Boston Women’s Film Festival 2019

The Brattle is excited to be hosting and co-producing the second edition of a new festival of films directed by women! The BOSTON WOMEN’S FILM FESTIVAL is the newest addition to Greater Boston’s film festival landscape. This fall, the festival will present a weekend of events celebrating the diversity and power of women’s cinema at both the Brattle and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Boston Women’s Film Festival All-Access Passes on sale now!

Last year, the festival presented a diverse slate of films that included Wild Nights with Emily, What They Had, Little Woods, Shirkers, Kim Swims, I am Not a Witch, On Her Shoulders, and more!

Already confirmed titles for this year include a rousing German zombie film (ENDZEIT), a Spanish/Costa Rican feature (AWAKENING OF THE ANTS), a doc on hip hop and fashion (THE REMIX), and a panel discussion following acclaimed documentary BLOWIN’ UP.
